WorkSync Services · Technology, Data and AI
One data layer, and your team runs it.
For CIO, Head of Digital, VP Ops
Objective 05 on the WorkSync Services list
- The objective
- Centralize operational data
- Who owns it
- CIO, Head of Digital, VP Ops
- The first yes
- An integration inventory and a data path for one use case.
- How it starts
- A 2 to 4 week assessment. Fixed fee, defined scope.
Who this is for
Centralize operational data
What we hear
- Every report is a reconciliation before it is a report.
- The person who maintains the spreadsheet is retiring.
What sets it off
An acquisition, a system migration, a failed analytics rollout, or a team that spends its week joining data by hand.
It is rarely the only objective on the owner’s year, which is why the assessment prices one asset group rather than the estate.
What we do
Discover, Align, Capture.
- Discover
Read it as it runs
An integration inventory: every source, its owner, its refresh, and what it is trusted for. - Align
Decide once, together
One canonical model and governed tables in your own cloud, with lineage from the signal to the number in the report. - Capture
Keep it honest
Pipelines your team runs, data-quality rules that fail loudly, and the handover documentation to own them.
We are not here to replace your stack. Most of what we have delivered runs on systems you already own. We add software only where it improves the operating model.
What you get
Everything here is yours to keep and yours to run.
Every claim here carries a basis
- DELIVERED
- We built it for a client and handed it over.
- FOUNDER EXPERIENCE
- A founder led it inside an operator, in an operator role.
- RUNS TODAY
- Live in our software.
- WITH YOUR TEAM
- We have the components and the people, this exact thing would be a first, and we say so.
Where it shortens the path, we use DataHub, our integration toolkit. It is not sold separately, and the program never depends on it. On the control room side: we have built an advanced process control prototype with partners. We have not delivered full-scale advanced control as a firm, and we say so before we are asked.
What is on the record
Maverick Natural Resources, Caturus Energy, Pacific Northern Gas
One data store joining production accounting, reserves, SCADA and well records for Maverick Natural Resources. EHS, contractor and GIS systems brought into the client’s own cloud for Caturus Energy and Pacific Northern Gas, and a regulatory data model for the utility. Governed tables in production for two clients and for our own product.
Delivered. WorkSync client record
Also in this practice
Two more objectives run on the same program.
Integrate an asset you just acquired
VP Operations, Integration Lead
- Two books arrive with two sets of routes, habits and data standards.
- The drilling half of the deal math is on the earnings call. The field half is quiet.
A closed or announced acquisition, a deal number already told to the market, and a day-one clock.
- Discover
- The two operations mapped side by side as they actually run.
- Align
- One standard chosen per function, and the data path built to carry it.
- Capture
- The standard carried across both books before habits harden, with the runbook owned by the operator.
The first yes Day-one readiness for one function, across both books.
Run the control room and remote operations
Control Room Manager, VP OT
- Advanced control was tuned once, at commissioning.
- Nobody has drilled failover. OT and IT are blaming each other.
An alarm flood, an instability event, a control room consolidation, or an advanced control ambition with nobody to own it.
- Discover
- The OT estate, the alarm load and the failover posture, read as they are.
- Align
- Stabilization, alarm philosophy and control-room workflow, with governance for any model that touches physical operations.
- Capture
- The standard written, the drills run, and the operating rhythm handed to the people who hold the console.
The first yes An OT and alarm read on one system.
API RP 1167 for alarm management, API RP 1168 for control room management, and the console run under 49 CFR 195.446 on liquids or 192.631 on gas. Upstream control rooms get the same discipline anyway, where no federal rule reaches. A pipeline control room is not field dispatch, and this scope is about the console.
Where we fit
And where we do not, said before you ask.
A fit
Multiple systems of record and a team that will own the result.
Not yet
A buyer who wants the platform without owning any of it.
How it starts
Start with the number.
An integration inventory and a data path for one use case.
Send us one asset group and the objective you are judged on. The Assess stage puts a dollar figure on it in two to four weeks, for a fixed fee. You keep the number either way.
The rest of the practice
- OperationsField operationsEfficiency, downtime and artificial lift: the work the crews do every day, chosen by what it is worth.
- Engineering and SafetySafety programA safety management system the field owns: hazards assessed with the crew, competency per task, leading indicators.
- Engineering and SafetyLeak detection and integrityLeak detection and integrity management designed around the instrumentation you have, with the evidence trail built in.
- Engineering and SafetyEngineering capacityRecurring engineering deliverables drafted from your own data, so the engineer reviews and issues instead of gathering.
- MethodWhat an engagement looks likeThe four phases, what we do, what your team does, and what lands at the end of each one.
